     10/20/12... (Box Score) Beth Kendera (Johnstown, Pa.) had a match-high 14 lills, and Danielle Fleeger (Clarion, Pa.) added 12 kills to help the Lady Cat volleyball team escape with a 3-sets-to-2 WVIAC victory at Ohio Valley (WV) University on Saturday.  Pitt-Johnstown made it four straight conference wins and proved to 13-6 overall and 6-4 in the WVIAC.
     The Lady Cats defeated Ohio Valley 24-26, 25-9, 23-25, 25-20, and 15-6.
     Kendera had a block solo, eight block assists and a pair of service aces to go along with her 14 kills, while Fleeger had 12 kills and seven block assists.  Ashley DiRado (Greensburg, Pa.) had nine kills, two block solos and five block assists, and Kelsey Shanabrook (Mechancisburg, Pa.) chipped in nine kills, nine digs, and four block assists.  Larissa Swank (Boswell, Pa.) also finihsed with nine kills for Pitt-Johnstown.
     Kayla Petrilla (Johnstown, Pa.) led the way for the Lady Cats with 29 set assists.  Nikki Oakes (Pittsburgh, Pa.) collected 20 assists, six digs, and five service aces.
     Kelsey Kohler (Johnstown, Pa.), Pitt-Johnstown's all-time leader in digs, had 20 digs, and Karen Schmidt (Boswell, Pa.) tallied 19 digs.
     Ohio Valley fell to 3-24 overall and 1-10 in conference-play.
     The Lady Cats will host non-conference matches against Point Park University on Tuesday at 6 p.m. and Mount Aloysius College on Thursday at 7 p.m.
