     10/17/12... (Box Score) Kelsey Shanabrook (Mechanicsburg, Pa.) finished with a match-high 14 kills to lead the Lady Cat volleyball team to a 25-23, 25-12, 25-21 WVIAC sweep at Shepherd (WV) University on Wednesday.  With the win, Pitt-Johnstown made it three straight conference wins and improved to 12-6 overall and 5-4 in the WVIAC.
     Shanabrook added a block solo and a block assist to go along with her 14 kills.
     Pitt-Johnstown also got seven kills, two block solos and a pair of block assists from Beth Kendera (Johnstown, Pa.), while Danielle Fleeger (Clarion, Pa.), Ashley DiRado (Greensburg, Pa.), and Karen Schmidt (Boswell, Pa.) all had four kills.
     Schmidt also ended the night with 13 digs to lead Pitt-Johnstown.  Kelsey Kohler (Johnstown, Pa.) chipped-in 10 kills, and Kayla Petrilla (Johnstown, Pa.) had 20 set assists to pace the Lady Cats.
     Shepherd fell to 5-14 overall and 1-6 in the WVIAC with the loss.
     The Lady Cats end a stretch of six straight road matches at Ohio Valley (WV) University on Saturday, before returning home to host non-conference matches against Point Park University Tuesday at 6 p.m. and Mount Aloysius College on Oct. 25 at 7 p.m.
