Mountain Cats Battle Seton Hill to 1-1 Draw
10/10/12... (Box Score) Colin Michalski (Pittsburgh, Pa.) gave the Mountain Cats a second lead, but Seton Hill University answered to tie it with four seconds remaining in regulation to force overtime.  After two extra periods of scoreless soccer, the Mountain Cats and Griffins ended Tuesday's WVIAC match at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field in a 1-1 draw.  The Mountain Cats are now 1-9-1 overall and 1-4-1 in the WVIAC.
Folling a scoreless first half, Michalski took a long through ball from Zeke Buchta (Mount Pleasant, Pa.) in the 77th minute and beat Seton Hill goalkeeper Jordan Sodhi for the match's first goal.
However, with time winding down, Paul Cornelius' header off of an Eddie Stover (New Kensington, Pa.) save found the back of the net for the Griffins and knotted it at one with four seconds remaining.
Neither team was able to score in two overtime periods, and Pitt-Johnstown and Seton Hill setted for the 1-1 draw.
Stover saw 26 Seton Hill shots and made five saves in goal for Pitt-Johnstown, while Sodhi faced 26 Pitt-Johnstown shots and made a pair of saves for the Griffins.
With the draw, the Griffins are now 2-10-1 overall and 2-3-1 in the WVIAC.
The Mountain Cats travel to Alderson-Broaddus (WV) College for a WVIAC  match on Saturday and to Salem International (WV) University on Sunday for a non-conference match, before returning home to host Lock Haven University for Senior Day on Wednesday at 2 p.m.
