     09/29/12... (Box Score) Tyler Rothbauer (Pittsburgh, Pa.) and Derik Swope (Harleysville, Pa.) each scored goals to help the Mountain Cats erase an early deficit and earn their first victory of the season with a 2-1 Homecoming win over Ohio Valley (WV) University, Saturday at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field.  The Mountain Cats improved to 1-8-0 overall and 1-3-0 in the WVIAC.
     Christian Breaux gave the Fighting Scots an quick 1-0 advantage on a breakaway 10 minutes into the match.
     However, Pitt-Johnstown bounced back with a pair of unanswered goals of their own.  Rothbauer knotted it at one off of Jeremy Scheffel's (Somerset, Pa.) assist in the 37th minute of play.
     Then, nine minutes into the second half, Swope took Keegan Donovan's (Pittsburgh, Pa.) cross and beat Ohio Valley goalkeeper Darcy Turner with what turned out to be the game-winner.
     Eddie Stover (New Kensington, Pa.) earned his first collegiate win in goal for the Mountain Cats after allowing one goal on nine Fighting Scots' shots.  Stover was forced to make just one save.  Turner saw 26 Pitt-Johnstown shots and made eight saves, but surrendered both goals in net for Ohio Valley.
     With the loss, the Fighting Scots fell to 0-8-0 overall and 0-2-0 in conference-play.
     The Mountain Cats will host WVIAC matches against the University of Charleston (WV) on Thursday at 4 p.m. and Seton Hill University on October 10 at 4 p.m.
