Sergeyev Leads Cross Country at Mount Aloysius Invitational
     09/30/12... (Full Results) Stella Sergeyev (Lancaster, Pa.) finished third out of 76 runners to lead the Lady Cat cross country team to a fourth-place finish at Sunday's Mount Aloysius College Invitational.  Catie Bertges and Haley Hughes finished first and second, respectively, to guide Penn State-Behrend to the team championship.
     Sergeyev paced Pitt-Johnstown with a third-place finish.  Her time of 25:43 was 55 seconds behind Bertges' race-winning time of 24:48.
     Rachel Rajter (Johnstown, Pa.) was 11th (27:02), and Victoria Rizzuto (York, Pa.) placed 15th (27:42) to cap three Lady Cats who placed in the top-15.
     In addition, Alyssa Pagano (Carrolltown, Pa.) finished 38th (30:25), and Amber Emery (Friedens, Pa.) placed 49th (31:18) for Pitt-Johnstown.
     Penn State-Behrend won the team title in the eight-team field with 19 points.  Penn State-Altoona was second (83 points), while Franciscan (OH) University (86 points), Pitt-Johnstown (103 points), and Medaille (NY) College (124 points) rounded out the top-five.
     The Lady Cats travel to the Pitt-Greensburg Invitational on Saturday and to the Gettysburg College Invitational on October 13.
