Men's Golf Fourth at PSU-Altoona Invitational
     09/16/12... (Full Results) Mike Macionsky (Duncansville, Pa.) shot an 81 to tie for 10th-place and lead the Mountain Cat golf team to a fourth-place tie with La Roche College at Saturday's Penn State-Altoona Invitational at the Par-72 Sinking Valley Country Club.  Saint Francis University's Chris Stricek fired a 73 to earn medalist honors and lead the Red-Flash to the team title.
     Macionsky paced Pitt-Johnstown with his nine-over 81.  Zach McQueen (Freeport, Pa.) tied for 17 (+10, 82), and Kevin McDonald (Erie, Pa.) tied for 23rd with an 83 (+11).  Max Bondi (Allison Park, Pa.) tied for 26th (+12, 84), and John Bush (Pittsburgh, Pa.) finished 38th (+16, 88) for the Mountain Cats.
     Saint Francis (Red) took the team championship in the 12-team field with a combined 303.  Saint Francis (White) was second (316), while Penn State-Behrend (328) was third, and Pitt-Johnstown and La Roche tied for fourth at 330.
     The Mountain Cats travel to the University of Charleston (WV) Invitational at River Green Golf Club in West Lafayette, OH on Monday and Tuesday, before going to the WVIAC Central Regional Tournament at Canaan Valley Golf Club in Davis, W.Va. on September 24-25.
