     09/19/12... (Box Score) Janna Stoup (Carlisle, Pa.) and Jackie Becerra (Saddle Brook, NJ) scored first half goals 32 seconds apart to led the Lady Cat soccer team to a 3-1 non-conference victory at Geneva College on Wednesday.  Pitt-Johnstown improved to 5-2.
     Stoup gave the Lady Cats a 1-0 lead off of an assist from Becerra's in the 28th minute, before Maura Koshute (Johnstown, Pa.) set-up Becerra 32 seconds later to extend the Pitt-Johnstown lead to 2-0.
     The Lady Cats held that lead until the 82nd minute when Koshute finished Lauren Steffen's (Halifax, Pa.) assist to push the lead to 3-0.
     Geneva broke Timi Shiock's (Punxsutawney, Pa.) shut out bid with a goal of its own with less than two minutes to play, but was a too late, and Pitt-Johnstown went on to the 3-1 victory.
     Shiock earned the win in net for the Lady Cats after facing 11 shots and making seven saves.  Anna McMullen took the loss for Geneva.  McMullen allowed all three goals and made eight saves after seeing 22 Pitt-Johnstown shots.
     With the loss, Geneva dropped to 3-3-1.
     The Lady Cats return home to host Wheeling Jesuit (WV) University on Sunday at 6 p.m. at Richland High School to begin a stretch of five straight home WVIAC matches matches.
