Cross Country Places Sixth at Juniata Invitational
     09/15/12... (Full Results) Led by Stella Sergeyev's (Lancaster, Pa.) 19th-place finish, the Pitt-Johnstown Lady Cat cross country team finished sixth at the 2012 Juniata College Invitational on Saturday.  Drew (NJ) University's Jennifer Van Wingerden won individual medalist honors with a time of 22:52, but Juniata took the team championship with 55 points.
     Sergeyev placed 19th out of 60 runners with a time of 26:17.  Sasha Peterman (Altoona, Pa.) was 31st at 27:07, and Rachel Rajter (Johnstown, Pa.) placed 39th at 27:58.  Marissa Albert (Philipsburg, Pa.) (28:44) and Allie Pagano (Carrolltown, Pa.) (28:47) rounded out the top-five Pitt-Johnstown runners with 41st and 43rd-place finishes, respectively.
     Juniata took home the team title in the seven-team field with 55 points.  Catholic (DC) University was second (64 points) and Moravian College (70 points) was third.  Susquehanna University (75 points), Goucher (MD) College (87 points), Pitt-Johnstown (154 points), and Keystone College placed fourth through seventh.
The Lady Cats travel to the St. Vincent College Invitational on Saturday and to the Mount Aloysius College Invitational on Sunday, September 30.
