Lady Cat Soccer Suffers 1-0 Loss at WV Wesleyan
     09/15/12... (Box Score) Hannah Gurtis' goal in the 64th minute borke a scoreless tie and led West Virginia Wesleyan College to a 1-0 WVIAC victory over the Lady Cat soccer team, Saturday afternoon in Buckhannon, W.Va.  Pitt-Johnstown slipped to 4-2-0 overall and 1-1-0 in conference-play.
     After 64 minutes of scoreless soccer, Kristen Hoo set up Gurtis, who beat Lady Cat goalkeeper Timi Shiock (Punxsutawney, Pa.) with the the game-winning goal.
     Shiock faced 14 Bobcats' shots and made four saves, but suffered the loss to fall to 4-2-0.  Laura Duncan earned the shutout in goal for West Virginia Wesleyan after seeing just three Pitt-Johnstown shots and making one save.
     With the win, the Bobcats improved to 3-1-2 overall and 2-0-0 in the WVIAC.
     The Lady Cats travel to Geneva College for a non-conference match on Wednesday, before returning home to host Wheeling Jesuit (WV) University on Sunday, October 23 at 6 p.m. at Richland High School to begin a stretch of five straight home WVIAC matches matches.
