Cross Country Finishes 6th at Seton Hill Invitational
     09/01/12... (Results) Stella Sergeyev (Lancaster, Pa.) placed 18th out of 85 runners to lead the Lady Cat cross country team to a sixth-place finish at Saturday's season-opening Seton Hill University Invitational.  Seton Hill's Jeannie Bujdos was the individual medalist with a time of 18:58 on her way to guiding the Griffins to the team title.
     Sergeyev's time of 21:53 was good enough for 18th to pace Pitt-Johnstown  Sasha Peterman (Altoona, Pa.) finished 30th (22:54), while Rachel Rajter (Johnstown, Pa.) (34th, 23:15), Victoria Rizzuto (York, Pa.) (42nd, 23:44), and Marissa Albert (Philipsburg, Pa.) (51st, 24:47) were the other top finishers for the Lady Cats.
     Seton Hill won the team championship with 19 points.  West Virginia Wesleyan (53 pts.), Charleston (WV) (91 pts.), Alderson-Broaddus (WV) (104 pts.), Fairmont State (WV) (138 pts.), and Pitt-Johnstown (150 pts.) rounded out the top-six in the nine-team field.
     The Lady Cats travel to the Waynesburg College Invitational on Saturday and to the Juniata College Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 15.
