Beginning your freshmen year in college carries with it certain excitement, fears, hopes and plenty of tough choices.  For most, it is a time of exploring new opportunities, building life-long friendships, and starting a wonderful, new journey. 

To help with the transition along the way, Catholic Campus Ministry is offering a 24 hour freshmen retreat away from campus.  What better opportunity is there to meet other incoming students, experience the beauty of the Laurel Highlands and begin understanding faith as a college student?

The connections you make over the next 4 years will be some of the most important of your life, so we invite you to begin by connecting with us! 
If you're a part of the Pitt-Johnstown Class of 2016, consider joining us your second weekend on campus!

The cost to attend the retreat is $25 and includes a t-shirt, meals, lodging and materials for the weekend.  If you (or your parents) register before Monday, September 4, 2012, the cost to attend is only $20!
Friday, September 7, 2012 - Leave Pitt-Johnstown at 6:00p.m.
Saturday, September 8, 2012 - Return to Pitt-Johnstown by 8:00p.m.
Our retreat will take place at Pine Springs Camp in Jennerstown, PA.  Pine Springs is home to our Fall and Spring Retreats and is located on 230 acres in the Laurel Highlands of Pennsylvania.  
How to Register:
In order to reserve your spot on the retreat, call 814-269-2007 or e-mail  Registration will be completed by submitting payment to the Office of Catholic Campus Ministry in Whalley Chapel.  Additional opportunities to pay with cash or check will also be available throughout Freshmen Orientation. 
Retreat Team:
The retreat will be led by the Catholic Campus Ministry student leaders as well as other Pitt-Johnstown upperclassmen.
What to bring:
A complete list of what to bring will be e-mailed to the retreatants a few days before departure.
