Pitt-Johnstown SAC Association Council Meeting
Wednesday, April 13, 200512:30 PM 

Present:   Andrea Leibfreid, Jeanne Susko, Joan Keirn, Diane Lenio, Bob Knipple, Andrea Sadvari, Judi McGuirk, Sharon Wilson, Shirley Richards 

Minutes:  Minutes from the March 9, 2005 meeting were read.  Jeanne Susko made a motion to approve the minutes and Bob Knipple seconded the motion. 

I.          President’s ReportAndrea Leibfreid wrote a letter regarding health care.  She sent it to Dr. Ethridge for his approval.  She left it up to him as to whether or not it should be sent.  Andrea talked with Pam Sabol from HR and Pam said ‘business as usual’ as far as the health care is concerned.  Andrea sent an article to Pittsburgh for ‘SAC Tracks’.  She received a flyer from Kennywood and Sandcastle. SAC picnic is approved for Wednesday, May 11, 2005. Sue Bodenschatz is resigning her position on SAC.  Judi McGuirk is stepping down from Chairing the Staff Activities Committee.  

II.         Committee Reports: 
a.  Issues and Concerns    Parking was discussed as a problem on campus.   
              Memo from George Hancock was handed out.  Andrea Leibfreid will present our  
              concerns to Dr. Ethridge.  Joan Keirn will tell George we’re addressing his memo.

III.  Old BusinessSAC Night Out – 12 people showed up at the Holiday Inn downtown and a good time was had by all, although it was a little more expensive than what we would normally pay. Late Night Cram – Wednesday, April 27, 2005, 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm.  Sister Corinne doesn’t need any help. 

IV. New BusinessWe received thank you cards from Sam Zimmerman and Michael Goodrich who received their care packages. SAC NIGHT OUT – Jeanne Susko will call for reservations at the Parrot Bay Café for Thursday, May 5th.  SAC Lunch – This month’s winner is Matt Harr.         

V.  Adjournment            Sharon Wilson made a motion for the meeting to adjourn, Jeanne Susko seconded the motion and the meeting adjourned at 1:25 PM.
