About us

Counseling excellence is our standard, not our goal.

The Personal Counseling Center is available to help you make your academic and personal experience here at UPJ as successful as they can be.  Please schedule an appointment if you are concerned about some aspect of your life, or if you are concerned about a friend.  Problems usually worsen when they are left unresolved.  Don't delay!  Call us now!  We will make every effort to ensure that your visit with us is a positive experience and well worth your time.  Check out this website for detailed information.

Darlene Zada is our office work study. She is a freshman majoring in communications and a welcomed addition to our staff. Darlene cheerfully and skillfully helps us out with the numerous tasks which keep our office running smoothly. Aside from being a great student here at UPJ, she also is a volunteer CCD instructor at her church and she is nuts about Steeler football, the Penguins and the Conemaugh Valley Hockey Team. She enjoys playing soccer, volleyball and skiing. Darlene is a 2007 graduate of Connemaugh Valley High School, home of the Blue Jays!
