Tenure track/Non-tenure-track position as Assistant Professor or Instructor of Management Information Systems, beginning August 2012. Business is a four-year baccalaureate program that offers concentrations in accounting (financial and managerial), finance, management (general and human resources), management information systems, and marketing. Initial appointment is for three years and contract is subject to renewal. Teaching load is four courses (12 credits) per semester. PhD in Business or related field preferred, MBA or MS with concentration in Information Systems or related degree required; minimum two years teaching experience at the undergraduate level; minimum two years professional experience in IS/IT; interest and willingness to teach small business and not-for-profit IT.
Applicants should have teaching interest and capacity in Business Information Systems, Database Management, Systems Analysis and Design, and Project Management. Additionally, Computer Hardware and Operating Systems, Advanced Database Technologies, Web Design, and Graphics Design would be desirable. Candidates should also exhibit enthusiasm for and proficiency in teaching undergraduates, show potential for research and professional development, and be willing to participate in all phases of departmental, divisional, and college activities.
