Tenure-track position as Assistant Professor of Business Accounting and Finance, beginning August 2012. Business is a four-year baccalaureate program that offers concentrations in accounting (financial and managerial), finance, information systems, management (general and human resources), and marketing. Initial appointment is for three years. Teaching load is four courses (12 credits) per semester. Ph.D. in Business, Economics or related field preferred; graduate study in Business beyond the Masters level considered; teaching experience at the college level required; professional experience and relevant certification in finance desirable.
Applicants should have teaching interest and capacity in principles of finance and upper-level courses in finance, such as business policy, financial modeling, investments, portfolio theory, international finance, or capital budgeting. Candidates should also exhibit enthusiasm for and proficiency in teaching undergraduates, show potential for research and professional development, and be willing to participate in all phases of departmental, divisional, and college activities.
