In this track the student has the freedom to diversify their studies across the functional areas of marketing, information systems, accounting, and finance or develop a more concentrated selection of studies in the field of Human Resources Management.
All students will have introductory coursework in the functional areas of business to include: Principles of Management, Principles of Marketing, Principles of Accounting, Principles of Finance and Business Information Systems. The required upper-level coursework includes a course in Organizational Behavior and Human Resources Management. In addition, the student will gain exposure to the legal and ethical environment of business (Social Issues in Management) and the operations function of an organization (Production and Operations Management).
For their elective offerings the student can select from any upper-level course of their choosing (given they meet prerequisites). Working with their advisor the student can take a multidisciplinary approach to their studies or concentrate their work in the field of Human Resources Management.
