Information Systems is responsible for the collection, processing, storage, transmitting, displaying and disseminate of information. Staff within Information Systems deal with enterprise-wide and local data systems in support of academic efforts and business operations on campus.
Information Systems responsibilities include:
- ID Center operations
- Generating information from various data system
- Distributing various forms of information to UPJ faculty and staff
- Data systems design, development and implementation
- Management of administrative servers
- Departmental system integration
- Intranet design, development and implementation
- Management of the UPJ web site and the Estrada© Content Management System
