Zach proved to be a very reliable spot-starter for Coach Pecora in his first year of collegiate wrestling….he posted an 11-7 overall record and an impressive 7-0 mark in dual meet wrestling at both 165 and 174 lbs...placed sixth at East Regional Tournament...Zach recorded six decisions and five major decisions….Zach was also an Honorable Mention NWCA All-Academic Wrestling Team selection.
Sophomore Season (2009-2010)
Zach became the starter at 157 lbs. and wrapped-up the year with a 14-10 overall record and a 9-5 record in dual meets. Eight victories came by way of decision, five by major decision and one by technical fall. Zach wrestled at the Super Region I Tournament, but did not place…Honorable Mention NWCA All-Academic Wrestling Team selection.
Junior Season (2010-2011)
After beginning the season at 165 lbs., Zach dropped to 157 lbs. and became a national qualifier with a third-place finish at the Super Region I Tournament. Zach was 23-8 overall and 9-1 in dual meets. His 16 wins by decision were third, and his four major decisions tied for third on the team. Zach placed fourth at both the Washington & Jefferson Collegiate Open and the Wilkes University Open...named First-Team NWCA All-Academic Wrestling Team.

Four-year letterman...133-38 career record...36-8 senior season record...three-time PIAA AAA state qualifier…2007 PIAA AAA State Place Winner (8th)...four-time district champion…holds school record with 133 career wins.
