Stere, now 2-0 on the year, gave up just one run and struck out four Clarion hitters. Fairman went 2-for-3 with an RBI and sophomore outfielder Cody Gallaher (Sidman, Pa.) added two hits. Junior catcher Josh Mearkle (Everett, Pa.) collected a two-run single in the win. With the split, Clarion is 8-7.
