Nicole Carman, a four-year letterman in both basketball and tennis at Twinsburg High School, averaged 9.8 points and 6.0 rebounds per game on her way to guiding her team to the 2011 Ohio State Championship with a perfect 27-0 record. In her four high school seasons, Carman’s team posted a 94-8 overall record and appeared in three district finals, three regional tournaments, and a state championship game. Carman was a two-time Northeast Ohio All-Conference selection who was named a Greater Cleveland Basketball Coaches Association All-Star and a Tri-County All-Star following her senior season. She also represented the United States in the 2011 Continental Cup Games.
On the tennis court, Carman, Twinsburg High School’s Most Valuable Player in 2011, was tabbed Northeast Ohio All-Conference three times on her way to guiding her team to three conference titles. She also earned a letter in track and field in the shot put and javelin.
She was coached by Julie Solis at Twinsburg High School.
