Men's Golf Picked 10th in WVIAC Preseason Poll
08/26/11...The Mountain Cat men's golf team, under Head Coach Patrick Greer, has been picked to finish 10th with 55 points by the league's coaches in the 2011 WVIAC Preseason Poll, released on Friday. Concord (WV) University has been selected as this year's favorites in the 13-team field to win the conference title... (Full WVIAC Release)
Concord received six first-place votes and 137 total points to lead the way. West Liberty (WV) University registered two first-place nods and is picked to finish second after garnering 116 points.
Bluefield State (WV) College was selected as the top team on two ballots, while Charleston was first on another ballot. Bluefield State totaled 106 points for third-place in the league. Fairmont State (WV) University was picked fourth with 103 total points, and Charleston tallied 102 points to earn the fifth spot.
