What We Offer

At Pitt-Johnstown we offer special services to students with disabilities. The purpose of these services is to enhance our students' educational experience at Pitt-Johnstown and to assure that the University does not discriminate against any student with a disability.

Our services include:

  • academic and personal support
  • academic and environmental accommodations
  • access to adaptive equipment for academic use
  • individualized academic counseling
  • meeting with faculty and students to support nondiscriminatory classroom policies
  • one-on-one tutoring in areas of need
  • working to make Pitt-Johnstown a barrier free environment for all students with disabilities
  • working with faculty, staff, and students to increase disability awareness
