Mountain Cat Baseball Falls, 5-4,
to Concord University
     Head Coach Todd Williams' Mountain Cat baseball team suffered a 5-4 loss to Concord University Tuesday afternoon in Fort Pierce, FL. After Pitt Johnstown took a 4-3 lead in the top of the fourth inning, Concord rallied with single runs in the fourth and fifth innings to seal the victory. With the loss, the Mountain Cats are now 4-3 on the season.
     Mountain Cat starter Brian Chruscial (Irwin, Pa.) suffered his first loss of the year after giving up five runs on 10 hits in 4.1 innings-pitched. Freshman outfielder Scott Parnell (Export, Pa.) went 2-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored to lead Pitt Johnstown offensively. Dan Delsignore (Johnstown, Pa.), Adam Plummer (Bellwood, Pa.) and Anthony Yarkowski (Homer city, Pa.) all drove in runs for the Mountain Cats.
     Pitt Johnstown continues its Spring Trip in Fort Pierce, FL with single games against Cedarville (OH) College Tuesday night and Northwestern (MN) College and Northland (WI) College on Wednesday .
