and the Mountain Cat baseball team were ranked seventh in the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Preseason Atlantic Region Poll when it was released on Friday. In addition, second baseman

Drew Shaulis (Somerset, Pa.)
were Honorable Mention Preseason All-Region selections...

Kutztown University, coming off of a 42-15 campaign a year ago, is the top-ranked team in the Atlantic Region. West Chester University is second, while California University (PA), West Virginia State University, and Seton Hill University rounded out the top-five.
Barbera
led nine Pitt-Johnstown players who hit over .300 with a .390 batting average in 2010. He also led Pitt-Johnstown in at-bats (164) hits (64) and runs (48). Westover hit .358 with 10 doubles, eight homeruns, and 39 RBI.
Westover
also paced the team with a .596 slugging percentage.
Shaulis
ended his junior season hitting .364 with nine doubles, a tripe and a homerun. On the Mound, Shaulis posted a 7-1 record with 46 strikeouts.
