Dr. Nina Girard, associate professor, mathematics education

Award:

• Distinguished Service Award, Pennsylvania Council of Teachers of Mathematics (PCTM).  Presented at the 56th Annual PCTM Conference, the award recognized Dr. Girard for service as the General Conference Chair in the planning and implementation of the 55th Annual PCTM Meeting.  Over 700 math teachers (K-12 and college) attended and participated in more than 150 sessions/workshops and visited with 75 exhibitors.  The service award is presented to the general conference chairperson upon the completion of the annual conference and reports.
