Jonathan JeromeCatholic Campus Minister, Director
This is Jonathan's third year at Pitt-Johnstown. Originally from Charlotte, NC, he attended The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC, where he majored in Theology and Religious Studies and minored in Philosophy. His main interests are the Catholic Liturgy and the development of catechesis in the American Church since the reforms of the Second Vatican Council. He has two older brothers, both graduates of NC State University and a sister studying at Emory & Henry College.
Fr. Matthew ReeseSacramental Minister
Fr. Matthew is a native of Vinco, PA and is a priest of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown. He is the pastor at St. Patrick Parish in Moxham and served as a parochial vicar for six years at Holy Name Parish in Ebensburg. He studied and attended seminary at both St. Vincent's Seminary in Latrobe and The Pontifical College Josephinum in Columbus, OH.
Coming from her hometown of Philadelphia, PA, Alysse is in her 2nd year at Pitt-Johnstown and is majoring in Psychology with the hopes of becoming an Occupational Therapist. Her interests include having a good time, being with friends and family, and laughing. While on-campus, Alysse also gives tours to the incoming students and their families who wish to attend UPJ. Alysse would like to thank her parents and her two younger brothers for all the love and support they have given her over the years.
Steven is a freshman at Pitt-Johnstown and is planning to major in Secondary Education with a focus on Social Studies. In his home town of Greensburg, PA, Steven has served as an altar server at Our Lady of Grace Parish. He enjoys entertaining people and does this best while working hard at Chuck E. Cheese where he gets to throw parties and dress up as the large furry mouse. When he's not working, he enjoys spending time with family and friends or watching his favorite television show: LOST. Steven currently serves as a lector and Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion at Mass on-campus.
Coming from his hometown of Glenshaw, PA, Paul is in his third year at Pitt-Johnstown and is majoring in Secondary Science Education. Some of his interests include science, teaching, traveling, music, and percussion. In his free time, he serves as timpanist for the Pitt-Johnstown Concert Band and lectors at Mass on-campus. He has a younger sister and a twin brother who attends Penn State.
Caitlin is in her second year at Pitt-Johnstown. Originally from Homer City, PA, she is majoring in Early Childhood Education and minoring in Psychology. She has an older brother, a twin brother, and a younger brother. On campus, Caitlin is involved in Habitat for Humanity, has served as a Student Ambassador, and is the Vice President of Education Club.
