Commencement is an academic ceremony; therefore, graduates are to wear traditional academic regalia (cap, gown, and tassel.) An academic regalia order form is included in the packet that was recently sent to your home address.
The price for the complete regalia (cap, gown and tassel) is $30.00. ALL ORDERS MUST BE RECEIVED BY APRIL 8, 2013. Orders received after April 8 will be charged a $5.00 late fee making the total price $35.00.
Regalia can be purchased by completing the order form and bringing it to the Graduation Fair (Cambria Room, Student Union) on February 26 or to the Pitt-Johnstown Bookstore between February 27 and April 8. (Visit http://www.pitt-johnstown.pitt.edu/gradfair for more information on the Graduation Fair.)
Full payment in the form of check, cash or credit card is due at time of purchase. Checks should be made payable to the University of Pittsburgh.
August and December 2012 graduates living out of the area may order by phone with a credit card, or you may mail your order with payment to the Pitt-Johnstown Bookstore.
