Mr. Petyak was the manager of the Audit Department for Crown American Corporation for 7 years and then the Assistant Vice President and Senior Controller for Crown American Realty Trust for 18 years. He planned, coordinated, and managed real estate tax, tenant sales and recoverable cost audits. He developed and prepared training progrms on accounting and internal control topics as well as reviewed internal and external accounting and operation controls. He was responsible for a staff of up to 25 individuals and was involved in numerous debt financings and the initial public offering for Crown American Realty Trust.
Mr. Petyak was the accounting manager for Cambria County Federal Saings and Loan for 5 years before coming to PITT-Johnstown.
Mr. Petyak has also been an adjunct professor for Mt. Aloysius College in Cresson, PA and at St. Francis University in Loretto, PA
He is a member of the Pennslyvania Institute of CPA's, Board Member of Cambria/Somerset Chapter of Junior Achievement, Borad Member of Portage Area Indusrial Develoment Association, and Classroom volunteer for the Junior Achievement Economics Program.
