     08/22/10...Head Coach Linda Renzi's Lady Cat volleyball team has been picked to finish 11th in the 15-team field in the 2010 West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletics Conference (WVIAC) Preseason Coaches' Poll.  Wheeling Jesuit (WV) University is the overwhelming favorite to claim the school's ninth WVIAC volleyball regular season title since 1999.  The Cardinals received 13 of 14 first place votes to easily outdistance second-place Alderson-Broaddus (WV) College...      Third place University of Charleston (WV) received the lone first place vote that didn't go to Wheeling Jesuit.  Shepherd (WV) University, West Virginia State University and West Virginia Wesleyan College possess the fourth through seventh spots.  Seton Hill University, Glenville State (WV) College and Fairmont State (WV) University complete the top ten.  Pitt-Johnstown is eleventh, Concord (WV) University and West Liberty (WV) University tied for twelveth, while Ohio Valley (WV) University and Bluefield State (WV) College comprise the remainder of the poll.
     Pitt-Johnstown, 11-17 overall and  4-10 in the WVIAC a year ago must replace four starters.  Senior
outside hitter Taylor Hrescak (Johnstown, Pa.) is the top returnee for Coach Renzi and the Lady Cats.
