Men's Soccer Picked Seventh in WVIAC Preseason Poll
     08/16/10...Head Coach Eric Kinsey's Mountain Cat soccer team, coming off of its third straight conference Tournament appearance, is picked to finish seventh in the 2010 West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WVIAC) Preseason coaches' Poll.  Defending WVIAC champion University of Charleston (WV) is the overwhelming favorite to be atop the league's men's soccer standings.  The Golden Eagles received eight of ten first place votes to easily pace the annual poll...      Pitt-Johnstown (6-12-1, 4-5-1 WVIAC) has qualified for the WVIAC Tournament in both seasons since the league reduced the post-season field to six squads.  The Mountain Cats made back-to-back WVIAC Tournament Semifinals appearances in 2007 and 2008.  Coach Kinsey has 15 of 19 Mountain Cat letter winners from last season back in the fold, including leading scorer Derik Swope (Harleysville, Pa.)
