It’s your chance to be a star! The University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown Theatre Department will hold auditions for its rock musical, Jesus Christ Superstar!, from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, November 29, and 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Monday, November 30 in room 240 Biddle Hall. Callbacks are scheduled for 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, December 1.
All auditioners should come prepared to sing a musical theatre song of 16 to 32 bars, or one will be provided. Sign-up sheets for audition times are on the door of the Humanities office in 234 Biddle Hall.
Performance dates are February 18 through 21 and 25 through 28. Rehearsal dates are December 3, 10, 11 and Sunday through Thursday in the month of January and the first half of February.
