     11/06/09...Kristin Irwin (Bellefonte, Pa.) and Ashley Hogan (Northern Cambria, Pa.) each had 20 kills to lead the Lady Cat volleyball team to a 3-1 WVIAC victory at Concord (WV) University on Friday.  Pitt-Johnstown improved to 10-16 overall and 3-10 in conference play.
     After dropping game on 28-30, the Lady Cats earned the win with 25-22, 25-17 and 25-18 victories.
     Irwin finished with 20 kills, one block solo and three block assists, while Hogan collected 20 kills and three block solos.  Nicole Houser (Penn Run, Pa.) added seven kills.
     Kayla Petrilla (Johnstown, Pa.) led the Lady Cats with 27 assists and a pair of service aces.  Taylor King (York, Pa.) had 19 assists.
     Taylor Hrescak (Johnstown, Pa.) led the way with 13 digs, while Abby Gearhart (Elton, Pa.) and Lauren Pennewill (Dallastown, Pa.) combined for 21 digs.  Hrescak also had two service aces.
     With the loss, Concord slipped to 11-19 ovreall and 3-10 in WVIAC play.
     The Lady Cats finish the 2009 regular season with a WVIAC match at Bluefield State (WV) College on Saturday.
