Winter Sports Midnite Madness Sunday Night in Sports Center
     The Pitt-Johnstown men’s and women’s basketball teams, along with the other nine varsity athletic teams, are gearing up for Mountain Cat Midnite Madness, this Sunday at 11:30 p.m. in the Sports Center.  Pitt-Johnstown students, staff and the community are welcome to come out and get a look at the Mountain Cat and Lady Cat basketball squads... (Schedule of Events) 
     Fans can enjoy free food, contests and prizes throughout the event.  Pitt-Johnstown students can register to win a flat-screen LCD HD-TV that will be given away at the end of the night.  Additional chances to win the TV can be purchased for $1.00. 
     In addition, the Pitt-Johnstown Athletics Department will be collecting non-perishable food items at the door.  Anyone who brings an item will receive a prize at the door.
     Along with the basketball teams, the Pitt-Johnstown athletics department will recognize and introduce each of the other nine sports that compete at the varsity level.
     Then, Midnite Madness will begin with the introduction of the Mountain Cats and Lady Cats.  The Mountain Cats will play a brief inter-squad scrimmage, followed by the Lady Cats inter-squad scrimmage.  Following the scrimmages, six men’s and six women’s basketball players will compete against one another in a 3-point shooting contest.  Midnite Madness will conclude with the Mountain Cats competing in a dunk contest.
     Doors open at 11:00 p.m.  Mountain Cat Midnite Madness is free for students, staff and the public.
