Everyone loves a parade! The Greater Johnstown community is invited to attend the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown’s Homecoming Parade at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 26. The parade will form at the Richland Cinemas and proceed up Theatre Drive, onto Schoolhouse Road, onto Picking Drive, onto Kunk’s Drive and onto Highfield Avenue.
The parade will feature bands from Forest Hills, Greater Johnstown and Richland, along with a wide variety of student organization floats, banners, and queen candidates. Special parade Grand Marshalls are Blessid Union of the Souls.
Following the parade everyone is invited to campus for the annual Homecoming celebration. Events include a MountainCat Wing Fest; Pitt-Johnstown’s own Mad Scientist: Dave Willey; live music; Classic Clowns, children’s crafts, face painting, storytelling and much more!
