Cross Country Places Ninth at St. Vincent Invitational
09/26/09...Kelly Goode (Pleasant Plain, OH) placed 24th to lead the Lady Cat cross country team to a ninth-place finish with 285 points at Saturday's Saint Vincent College Invitational. Saint Vincent's Ivette Mejia's time of 19:19 led all runners, but Grove City College won the team competition with 51 points, followed by California University (PA) with 52 points.
Kelly Goode placed 24th with a time of 21:13, followed by twin sister Stacy Goode (Pleasant Plain, OH) in 57th-place at 22:36. Emily Doll (Wexford, Pa.) was 67th (22:58), while Olivia Ragno (Johnstown, Pa.) (24:34) and Brynn Waylonis (Central City, Pa.) (25:14) were 96th and 105th, respectively.
The Lady Cats travel to the Pitt-Greensburg Bobcat Classic on Saturday and to the Carnegie Mellon University Invitational on Oct. 10.
