vs. Westminster College - 09/12/09

     09/12/09...Kristin Kelly's (Bethel Park, Pa.) second half goal tied the score at 1-1, but Sarah Nee scored six minutes into overtime to lead Westminster College to a 2-1 victory over the Lady Cat soccer team, Saturday afternoon.  Pitt-Johnstown has lost two straight matches and  fell to 2-3-0.
     Westminster took a 1-0 lead into the halftime break on Lauren Graeser blast by Lady Cat goalkeeper Stephanie Paha (Slickville, Pa.) 17 minutes into the match.
     Kelly knotted the score in the 52nd minute on a header off of Lindsay Plowman's (Apollo, Pa.) corner kick.
     The score remained the same until Nee took Danielle Struble's cross in the 96th minute and found the back of the net behind Paha to give Westminster the victory.
     Paha made six saves, but suffered the loss and dropped to 1-3-0.  Westminster goalkeeper Jenn Cantella made 10 saves to earn the win and help the Titans improve to 2-2-0.
     The Lady Cats travel to Davis & Elkins (WV) College for a WVIAC match on Saturday and to Saint Vincent College for a non-conference match on Tuesday, Sept. 22.
