ATH08_015_NeffC_TMountain Cats Blanked By Holy Family In Kick-Off Classic
     09/06/09...Holy Family University scored a pair of goals two minutes apart early in the second half to hand the Mountain Cat soccer team a 2-0 loss in Sunday's First Round of the Pitt-Johnstown Kick-Off Classic.  Mountain Cat goalkeeper Craig Neff (Elizabethtown, Pa.) made seven saves for Pitt-Johnstown, which fell to 1-2-0.
     After a scoreless first half, Holy Family's Tim Weglicki took Jason Lopez' cross and beat Neff three minutes into the second half.  Two minutes later, Seydou Ba finished a Lopez throughball to set the final score at 2-0.
     Neff faced 20 Holy Family shots and made seven saves, but fell to 1-2-0.  Holy Family, which outshot the Mountain Cats 20-10, got three saves from Mark Ferretti.  Feretti improved to 2-1-0.
     With the victory, Holy Family raised its season record to 2-1-0.
     The Mountain Cats will finish the 2009 Pitt-Johnstown Kick-Off Classic on Monday at 2 p.m. against Washington Adventist (D.C.) University at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field.  Holy Family will take on Alderson-Broaddus at noon.
