Prior to Pitt-Johnstown: At Elizabeth-Forward High School, Danko earned First-Team All-Section honors and competed in the WPIAL Championship tournament in both 2006 and 2007. He was a medalist seven times during his senior season, scoring a low of 34 (9 holes). Danko was a member of his high school boys’ basketball team.
