These procedures are for applicants who have completed a first university degree deemed by the University of Pittsburgh to be comparable to a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution in the United States and need to satisfy some prerequisites to qualify for admissions to a graduate program or take courses for enrichment.
These procedures are for applicants currently enrolled at another university or college who want to take classes at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown for one term and will have the credits completed transferred to their home university or college.
Post Baccalaureate Students and Guest Students must submit all of the items listed under Basic Application Procedures and the following:
- A Statement of Purpose that clearly explains their reason for wanting to study at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown.
- A statement that indicates a Plan of Study and the proposed courses and course numbers. Click here for class schedules.
- Post baccalaureate applicants must also submit a certified (notarized) copy of the diploma/certificate awarding the degree or qualification if studies were completed in the United States.
