Ms. Diane Lenio has been awarded the 2008 President’s Staff Award for Excellence in Service to Pitt-Johnstown. This annual award recognizes staff members who demonstrate a commitment to the University above and beyond their job responsibilities, and who have compiled a record of voluntary service to the Pitt-Johnstown community.
Ms. Diane Lenio, administrative assistant in the Personal Counseling Center, began her career at Pitt-Johnstown in 1998. She is an active member of the Pitt-Johnstown Staff Activities and Concerns Association, and raised nearly $500 as the team captain for the Susan G. Komen Passionately Pink for the Cure Campaign. Her service to Pitt-Johnstown includes active involvement in the annual Trick or Treat for Students, Freshman Move-In Day, Commencement, and the staff picnic on the mall.
Deeply committed to our students, Ms. Lenio is known across the campus for the sincerity and warmth with which she welcomes everyone who enters the Personal Counseling Center. Her nurturing style and compassionate attitude reassure the students and contribute significantly to the success of the Personal Counseling Center.
Please join me in congratulating Ms. Lenio.
