Wrestlers Stay Second in Super Region I Rankings;
Nine Wrestlers Individually-Ranked
02/20/12...Head Coach Pat Pecora's Mountain Cat wrestlers, 9-3 on the year, remained second in the most recent NCAA Division II Super Region I Coaches Poll released on Monday. Nine Mountain Cats are individually-ranked, including returning All-American Ryan Link (133 lbs.) (Cresson, Pa.) and Gary Lantz (184 lbs.) Newberry (S.C.) College kept the top-spot, while Pitt-Johnstown, Mercyhurst College, West Liberty (WV) University, and Kutztown University rounded out the top-five for the second straight rankings.
Along with Ryan Link and Lantz, eight other Mountain Cats are individually ranked. Dave Fogle (125 lbs.) (Summerhill, Pa.) and Jack Bachman (141 lbs.) (Greensburg, Pa.) are both second, and Nathan Link (149 lbs.) (Cresson, Pa.) is third. In and Zach Lundgren (157 lbs.) (DuBois, Pa.) are third. In addition, Travis McKillop (Lower Burrell, Pa.) (174 lbs.) and Jon Moore (197 lbs.) (Leechburg, Pa.) are fourth and Josh Krupa (HWT.) (Bedford, Pa.) are fifth.
