Program Objectives

1. Graduates of the Civil Engineering Technology program will demonstrate an ability to apply mathematics, natural sciences, and contemporary technology to civil engineering practice.
   

2. Graduates of the Civil Engineering Technology program will demonstrate a breadth of knowledge in the core areas of civil engineering technology.

3. Graduates of the Civil Engineering Technology program will demonstrate an ability to function within a team environment including the ability to communicate effectively and to implement principles of leadership and management.

4. Graduates of the Civil Engineering Technology program will demonstrate professional responsibility and an appreciation of societial, ethical, environmental, economic, regulatory, and global issues relative to civil engineering projects.

5. Graduates of the Civil Engineering Technology program will acknowledge the need for perssonal and professional adaptability and will be prepared to pursue opportunities for personal and professional growth during their careers.
