Professor Houston has been a member of the faculty in the Engineering Technology Division of Pitt-Johnstown since September, 2003.
Professor Houston serves as advisor for several student groups, including: ASCE Student Chapter, ASCE Concrete Canoe Team, ASCE/AISC Steel Bridge Team, Acacia Fraternity, and DSX Fraternity.
Professor Houston received the 2005 ASCE Pittsburgh Section Professor of the Year Award.
