Neelima Bhatnagar, Assistant Professor of Management in the Department of Management at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, has been teaching at Pitt-Johnstown since 1997. She teaches courses in the area of Information Systems, and has developed and taught the following courses: Introduction to Business Information Systems, Database Management, Systems Analysis and Design, Programming Languages I, Telecommunications and Networks, and Data Warehousing & Data Mining.

Prior to joining Pitt-Johnstown, Ms. Bhatnagar taught for 6 years at Edison Community College in Piqua, Ohio. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Business Administration (with a concentration in Computer Systems) from the University of Toledo, a Master of Business Administration from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and a Master of Science in Management Information Systems from Duquesne University.

Ms. Bhatnagar belongs to several professional organizations. She is a member of the Association for Information Technology Professionals (AITP) and the International Association of Computer Information Systems (IACIS). She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Johnstown chapter of AITP and is faculty advisor to the student chapter of AITP which was established in 2007.

Ms. Bhatnagar has made numerous presentations at the Information Systems Education Conference.  Her research interests include Information Systems curriculum and pedagogy, and current events in IT.

Ms. Bhatnagar created and maintains Pitt-Johnstown's Business website and the Bizconnection website for Alumni Networking. 

Ms. Bhatnagar resides in Greensburg, PA.
