Richland Community Days

Richland Community Days

Pitt-Johnstown was proud to be a sponsor of the first annual Richland Community Days celebration.  The event, which was held August 15 and 16, attracted thousands of people to enjoy the food, crafts, and entertainment on Schoolhouse Road.  More than 25 Pitt-Johnstown faculty and staff volunteered their time to help make the event a success.  Our Mountain Cat (aka Andrea Sadvari) was on hand opening night to mingle with the crowd and hand out balloons and Mountain Cat Proud badges.

Visitors to the Pitt-Johnstown booth were greeted by the always-happy Mountain Cat.  Special blue and gold Pitt-Johnstown balloons were handed out to visitors, who were also given a chance to win free tickets to the Pasquerilla Performing Arts Center.

Toukee Bird

The Mountain Cat gives a big Pitt-Johnstown wave to attendees at the first-annual event.

Vince Strugala

Event Coordinator and Pitt-Johnstown Alum Vince Strugala gets a hug from the Mountain Cat in appreciation of his hard work in putting together the event.

The always-safety-minded Mountain Cat learns about the Johnstown/Richland Township Special Emergency Response Team (SERT) from Officer Tom Keirn.
