Traveling by Car…
From Eastern, Southern, or Western Points:
PA Turnpike to Exit #110, Somerset. From Somerset take Route 219 North to the Elton Exit, PA 756. At the end of the exit ramp, turn right. At light turn right onto Theater Drive (Sleep Inn and Comfort Inn on your right). At the third light turn left onto Schoolhouse Road. Get into the left lane. At light, go straight. Make first right onto Picking Drive. Proceed to stop sign. The Living/Learning Center is straight ahead.
*Alternate Route from Eastern or Southern Points:
PA Turnpike to Exit #146, Bedford. Follow signs toward Johnstown via Route 56 West. Stay on Route 56 for approximately 30 miles until you reach a traffic light near the community of Windber; this is about 4 miles from the University. Continue on Route 56 to the third traffic light. At that intersection, turn right onto Eisenhower Blvd. (between Eckerd Drugs and Eat N’ Park Restaurant.) At the next light turn right onto Theatre Drive. At the next light turn left onto Schoolhouse Road. Get into the left lane. At light, go straight. Make first right onto Picking Drive. Proceed to stop sign. The Living/Learning Center is straight ahead.
Alternate Route from Western Points:
PA Turnpike to Exit #67, Irwin. Take Route 30 East to 219 North toward Johnstown. Follow Route 219 to the Elton Exit, PA 756. At the end of the exit ramp, turn right. At next light turn right onto Theater Drive. At the third light turn left onto Schoolhouse Road. Get into the left lane. At light, go straight. Make first right onto Picking Drive. Proceed to stop sign. The Living/Learning Center is straight ahead.
From Directly Northern Points:
Take Route 219 South to the Geistown/Elton Exit, PA 756 (Note: do not take Johnstown Expressway exit.) At the traffic light (bottom of exit ramp) turn left onto Elton Road. At the second light turn right onto Theater Drive. At the third light turn left onto Schoolhouse Road. Get into the left lane. At light, go straight. Make first right onto Picking Drive. Proceed to stop sign. The Living/Learning Center is straight ahead.
