Four Mountain Cats Win Titles, 
Two Share Titles at 
2004 Slippery Rock University

     Year in and year out, the Slippery Rock Open proves to be an event that the Mountain Cats have successful showings.  And Saturday's 2004 tournament was no different as four of Head Coach Pat Pecora's (29th season) wrestlers earned individual championships and two others shared the title at 141 lbs.  Junior two-time National Qualifier Ryon Mazzocco (Cresson, Pa./Penn Cambria H.S.) won the championship at 125 lbs., while senior All-American Mark Glova (Saint Benedict, Pa./Cambria Heights H.S.) and sophomore Mike Fowler (Carrolltown, Pa./Cambria Heights H.S.) won titles at 165 lbs. and 197 lbs., respectively.  At 141 lbs., junior All-American Thad Benton (Claysburg, Pa./Claysburg-Kimmel H.S.) and junior Jay Matteo (New Castle, Pa./Laurel H.S.) shared the championship.
