Homecoming is always an exciting time, and this year was especially rewarding. The Friday evening reception attracted alumni form across the Commonwealth and from across the years. Alumni who attended the

” in the 1940s and alumni who graduated in the late 1990s were in attendance. Friendships were renewed, unbelievable stories told, and connections were made between the early graduates of UPJ and the recent graduates. This is truly the meaning of Homecoming!
Homecoming is also an event that highlights outcomes for UPJ graduates, while providing a glimpse of our past and a new perspective on our future. It provides insight into how well we are doing and confirms our identity as a college. The University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown is an outstanding college, not only for the exceptional educational experience and the on-campus culture but also, for the thousands of proud alumni that have gone on to make a difference in their careers and in their communities.
On Saturday, the enthusiasm of our students was evident throughout the activity-filled day, from the crowning of Miss UPJ to the dee-jay and live band at the Sports Center. Alumni, too, shared the enjoyment with another successful
Tie One On
party at the Log Cabin.
Make plans to join us next year; all your old friends were asking about you!
