Environmental Studies

The Environmental Studies major emphasizes environmental policy, a good grounding in environmental science and appropriate methodological skills. The major is interdisciplinary in nature, with courses offered by faculty members from disciplines that include anthropology, biology, chemistry, civil engineering technology, economics, English literature, geography, geology, physics, political science and sociology.

Environmental Studies graduates find work in federal, state and county environmental agencies, non-profit environmental organizations, law practices and engineering firms, and some pursue graduate or professional degrees.
