Women's Track & Field Finishes Second at WV Wesleyan Snowbird Invitational 03/19/08...Darianna Terry earned a pair of first place finishes and one second place finish to lead the Pitt Johnstown women's track team to a second place overall finish at the 2008 West Virginia Wesleyan College Snowbird Invitational on Wednesday. Terry earned first place finishes in the 100 Meter Dash (13.64) and Triple Jump (10.79m) and placed second in the Long Jump with a jump of 4.69 meters. Jill Maurer and Lindsay Plowman placed third and fourth respectively in the 400 Meter Dash, while the 4x100 Meter Relay Team finished second behind West Virginia Wesleyan with a time of 54.13. In the field events, Krista Britcher placed second in the the Shot Put (10.79m) and third in the Javelin Throw (96'10"), while Maurer finished third in tthe Javelin (81'01") West Virginia Wesleyan won the team title with 231 points, followed by Pitt Johnstown (96 pts.), Alderson Broaddus (42 pts.), Concord (20 points) and West Virginia State (20 points). Pitt Johnstown travels to the Concord (WV) University Invitational on Friday and the Wheeling Jesuit (WV) University Invitational on Saturday.
